Dr. McAleese realizes that every patient encounter is unique, and the treatment performed is individualized for YOU.
Chiropractic Treatment
Dr. McAleese will perform soft tissue therapy, such as myofascial release therapy, to help relax tight muscles. Soft tissue therapy is typically followed by mobilization of the joint or body segment being treated. An adjustment or manipulation may then be performed depending on your condition. Modalities such as IFC, LASER, or thumper may be used in some cases to provide further relief. Exercises and stretches will then be provided
Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave is an excellent healing modality used to treat conditions such as calcific tendonitis of the shoulder, golfer's elbow, tennis elbow, jumper's knee and plantar fasciitis. If you are suffering from a form of tendonitis that has not responded to other treatments, give us a call to see if shockwave therapy is right for you.
Custom Orthotics
Dr. McAleese will perform a gait examination with you, assessing the structures and arches of the foot in a standing and sitting position. Finally, a foam cast of your foot is created for the orthotic.
